Top o' the morning, all!

I just returned on Friday from a week in Las Vegas at a trade conference, the largest in the world for independent authors and publishers. It was a tremendous week, and a fantastic opportunity to meet with author friends both old and new.

If there was one lesson I learned last week, it was that there has truly never been a better time alive to be a storyteller. There's an amazing number of very talented writers out in the world today, and all of us are spoiled for choice.

So thank you to all of you who have made the choice to sit down and spend the time with my stories. I couldn't do this without you, and I'm always grateful.

This week, I'll be hard at work writing the second book in the Saga of the Broken Gods. This is my second try at starting it, and I'm happy to say that I really like the way the story is developing now. Beyond that, I'll be making a big announcement on Wednesday, and hopefully will have proof copies of both the paperback and hardcover versions of A Sword Named Vengeance by the end of the week.

I hope you're all doing well!
