I Miss the Old Internet

Logging on makes me tired. I miss blogs and forums, all the weird corners where people found others with similar interests.

I miss the serendipity of browsing search results and personal websites.

I miss the days when we weren't quite so good at monetizing attention.

Sorry for not having something more optimistic, but I'm longing for days that are long gone, although I do hope that someday the best of it returns.
