Friday Fantasy For June 20, 2025

Top o' the morning, all.

As always, I hope this email finds you doing well. The Kirk household has fallen quickly into the joys and tribulations of summer, and it's been a pleasure. Thunderstorms roar across the sky. The heat and humidity build until you feel like you could step into a sauna to cool down. The garden is in bloom and our first tomatoes are growing on the vine.

On the writing front, I made one big push to finish my rounds of editing on Song of the Fallen Swords 4, which left me feeling like the story was in a good place. It's now off to the editors, and I expect it will be in the hands of ARC readers by the end of the month(ish). As is usual, my writing pace has slowed with the arrival of summer, but I'm already a fair bit into Fallen Swords 5, which will be the end of the series.

In other news, both the hardcover and paperback versions of Of Blood and Broken Dreams are now available on Amazon, and they'll be at all other retailers shortly.
