Friday Fantasy for July 18!
Top o' the morning, all!
As always, I hope this post finds you doing well. My summer has been full, but not of writing, unfortunately. We've had family and friends visiting, there's been playdates and swimming lessons, and a full slate of odds and ends. Add to that tornadoes, high heat, and the occassionl garden-variety midwestern hail storm, and the days seem to fly by.
Given that I switch to a more full-time parent role over the summer, I don't get nearly as much writing time as I'd like, but I manage to squeeze in a bit every now and then, and I did push myself hard this spring to prepare for the summer slowdown.
Because of that, I'm excited to say that Fallen Swords 4 is back from my editor! I still have to finish another pass on it, but I'm hoping it will be ready for ARC readers within the next week, so if you're one of those, please be on the lookout!
Otherwise, I expect the book will be up for sale sometime around the end of August.
This email's short story is one from waaaay back in the day, from the Nightblade Universe. It's about Shigeru and Orochi. It's called No Way Home, and being as it's a bit of a longer one, you can find it here:
