Top o’ the morning all,

I hope this finds you doing well. In these parts, spring has sprung. Trees and flowers are blooming, and the sweet scent of lilacs fills our backyard. It’s light now when I wake up at five to go to the gym, and the daylight stretches until I climb into bed every night. Our family afternoons are filled with bike rides, parks, tennis, baseball, and much more. It’s a wonderful time of year as we emerge from the cold dark months of winter.

I’m excited to announce today the upcoming release of Of Blood and Broken Dreams, a brand-new world separate from the Nexus Universe.

On one hand, this is a story about the end of an age and the awakening of ancient gods, of war and strife and suffering. It’s the story of a desperate group of warriors trying to hold off a much stronger and more determined foe. It’s about a world with a deep history and deeper magic undergoing the very beginnings of a cataclysmic change.

But it’s also a story about sacrifice. Of parents fighting for a future for their children. Of leaders forced to make heartbreaking decisions for the greater good. Of warriors bleeding for the friend standing beside them.
