7 Days till takeoff!

Top o’ the morning, all!

As always, I hope this email finds you doing well. I’m enjoying the last few weeks of relative peace and quiet around the house before the absolute chaos of summer rears its head. I’m hard at work on Fallen Swords 4, hoping to get that manuscript to a good place before my pace slows down during the summer months.

I have three quick announcements today, and they’re hopefully all fun ones.

The first is that Of Blood and Broken Dreams releases in a mere seven days! Early reviews from the review team have been positive, and I’m excited to get this into people’s hands.

There’s a few options for purchase.

First, if you’d like to buy direct, there are a few advantages. For one, you’ll get the book a few days early. Two - you’ll get a FREE bonus novella included. You can find the link for it here:

The second piece of news that’s kind of fun is that one of my Publishers, OHB, has put up the conclusion of the Legends of Adani series up for review. This is a process separate from my normal ARC team, so if you’d like to grab a copy of the series conclusion for free (in exchange for an honest review), you can head over here:

Following their defeat at the hands of the wandering clans, the emissaries of Void descend upon a rebellious world, seeking to harvest the essence of life itself: corrupted hearts, vital to their master’s eternal war. They encounter a land of untapped power, its young people standing defiantly against the force they cannot defeat.Leading the resistance is Bael, an ascended warrior whose mastery of adani rivals the emissaries’ control of their esoteric powers. His decisive actions shatter the emissaries’ plans but ignite a larger conflict that will test the fragile alliances of humanity.Meanwhile, Elyn, torn between her ties to Void and the family she betrayed, embarks on a perilous journey to prove her worth as a servant of destruction—only to find her fractured heart wavering between loyalty and redemption. As Void’s shadow deepens, warriors, outcasts, and ascended beings must choose: embrace their slow decline or fight for a future where light and life may yet endure.

I believe that it will make you sign up for an account, but that’s so they can make sure readers are leaving reviews.

Seven Years
Brenda and I are draped across the couch, the newest episode of her favorite baking show clamoring for attention in the background while we scroll through our phones. Though I can’t see her screen, I know she’ll be looking at photos of far-off places, dreaming of the day we take a trip like we used to. I’m reading the
